Come share your dreams in a safe place. Each meeting everyone will have an opportunity to share a dream.
Tea and snacks will be served. No previous dream work is necessary. All are welcome. The spiritual realm
can be accessed every night in our dreams, just as it has been by people in all the world religions throughout history. We are one.
Rev. Bonnie Tarwater has served both the Unitarian Universalist and United Church of Christ denominations as a parish minister where she regularly led dream groups in churches as well as in the community. Currently, she does dream work consultation in San Diego and on the internet. Before becoming a minister Bonnie worked professionally in the visual and performing arts and has and a BA in visual art from UCSD, a MFA in theater from the American Conservatory Theater in SF and a MDiv from Claremont School of Theology. Bonnie explores and celebrates dream work as a creative and artistic spiritual practice for community and individual healing and transformation. www.RevBonnieTarwater.com
“As a whole species, we are in deep trouble. We are inexorably destroying the ability of the planet to support complex interdependent, mammalian life. This crisis has been precipitated by our sorcerer’s apprenticeship in science and by the unfeeling manipulation of nature for our immediate, short term gratification. The stunning short-term economic and political success of science and industrial applications of technology (with their reliance on narrowly focused, conscious, logical, abstract, rational, linear, specialized, seemingly unemotional thinking) has produced the secondary effect of alienating us from our deeper unconscious, more authentic, and spontaneous selves. It has also distracted us from two of the oldest and more reliable sources of restoring balance, sanity, and the evolving self-awareness: myth and dream.” Jeremy Taylor
“Dreams are letters from THE soul—as opposed to Dreams are Letters from YOUR soul. My journey into soul consciousness has taught me something very important. Soul is collective, not personal. When I use the term soul I refer to a vast level of consciousness—one that exists before, beyond, and throughout the separation and isolation that we experience as individuals in human form. Soul is impersonal because it is universal. It is a unifying term, not a separating one. We are not individual souls. We are instead individuations of a collective level of soul consciousness.“ Connie Kaplan
